
A U.S. organization representing local and regional family farmers in four key agricultural states is asking U.S. President Donald Trump to “stand down” from his tariff war.
“Our first and by far most urgent call is for the Trump Administration to move quickly to negotiate a stand-down with these important trading partners,” said Dave Puglia, Western Growers CEO, in a statement released March 4, the day Trump’s tariffs took effect on Canada, Mexico and China.
